In the case of consuming the same power, the brightness of energy-saving lamps is about 4 times that of incandescent lamps, but the price is often several times or even dozens of times. Even with the government's 50% sales price subsidy, prices are still relatively high. The 'Announcement' clarifies that China's roadmap for phasing out incandescent lamps is divided into five stages: the transition period from November 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012, and the ban on import and sales of 100 watts and above from October 1, 2012 General lighting incandescent lamps, the import and sale of general lighting incandescent lamps of 60 watts and above are prohibited from October 1, 2014, and the mid-term evaluation period is from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016, and from October 1, 2016 The import and sale of incandescent lamps for general lighting of 15 watts and above are prohibited, or adjustments may be made depending on the results of the mid-term assessment. The implementation of the roadmap will effectively promote the healthy development of China's lighting and electrical industry, and achieve good energy-saving and emission reduction effects.
