CHZ Lighting - LED Street Light Manufacturer and LED Flood Light Factory Since 2013
The LED light-emitting diode used in solar street lights is a semiconductor solid-state light-emitting device. It uses a solid semiconductor chip as a light-emitting material. When a forward voltage is applied to both ends, the carriers in the semiconductor recombine and cause photon emission to generate light. LEDs can directly emit red, yellow, blue, green, cyan, orange, purple, and white light. Like ordinary diodes, light-emitting diodes are composed of a PN junction and also have unidirectional conductivity. When a forward voltage is applied to the light-emitting diode, the holes injected from the P region to the N region and the electrons injected from the N region to the P region will be respectively connected with the electrons in the N region and the empty holes in the P region within a few microns of the PN junction. Hole recombination, resulting in spontaneous emission of fluorescence. The energy states of electrons and holes in different semiconductor materials are different. When electrons and holes recombine, the energy released is somewhat different, the more energy released, the shorter the wavelength of the light emitted. Commonly used are diodes that emit red, green or yellow light. The light-emitting diodes of solar street lights have high light efficiency at low power. If good light-emitting diodes are used as semiconductor lights, about 2 watts have good brightness. The 2-watt semiconductor lamp can be composed of two 1-watt high-power light-emitting diodes in series, or it can be composed of 40 low-power LEDs in series and then 20 in series and parallel. When using low-power LEDs in series/parallel as a semiconductor lamp , a 10Ω resistor should be connected in series in each string to balance the current between the strings. At present, the cost of using a low-power light-emitting tube to make a semiconductor lamp is relatively low. When making a semiconductor lamp, the LED driver is installed inside the lamp body.
