CHZ Lighting - LED Street Light Manufacturer and LED Flood Light Factory Since 2013
The working principle of solar street lights is that solar panels are devices that respond to light and convert light energy into electricity. There are many materials that can produce photovoltaic effects, such as monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon, etc. Their power generation principles are basically the same, and the photoelectric power generation process is described by taking crystals as an example. P-type crystalline silicon can be doped with phosphorus to obtain N-type silicon, forming a P-N junction. When light hits the surface of the solar cell, a part of the photons is absorbed by the silicon material; the energy of the photons is transferred to the silicon atoms, causing the electrons to transition and become free electrons that accumulate on both sides of the PN junction to form a potential difference. When the circuit is connected, under the action of this voltage, a current will flow through the external circuit to generate a certain output power. The essence of this process is: the process of converting photon energy into electrical energy is completed by solar panels. The so-called depth of discharge is expressed as a percentage of the battery capacity, and the nominal capacity can be obtained from the battery case or the manual. The discharge capacity that a battery can withstand is related to its structure. Most common batteries have electroactive lead alloy plates, which are immersed in dilute electrolyte. The plates can be divided into plant type (pure lead), paste-coated plate type and tubular type. Electrodes are available in different thicknesses and in different alloys (eg lead-calcium, lead-antimony alloys) for different types of batteries. Generally speaking, the larger the electrode plate, the better the performance such as the degree of charge and discharge that the battery can withstand.
