How to install LED street lights? What matters needed attention during ainstallation process?

LED street lights are well-known road lighting products with many advantages, so they are also favored by buyers. Often buyers are very concerned about the price and quality of led street lights, but it is easy to overlook the issue of installation. I think that as long as the quality of the purchased product is good and it is installed, there is not much attention to it. LED Street Lights Installation Considerations

Step 1: Choose the installation location

Choose a suitable installation location to facilitate the laying of foundations and the installation of street light poles. Be careful not to choose a damp place to prevent unstable street light poles.

The distance between LED street lamps is also the distance between street lamps, which is determined by the lighting power of the LED street lamps, the height of the street lamp poles, and the width of the road. In some villages, the distance is calculated based on how many street lights can be purchased according to the budget. In theory, the distance between LED street lamps is generally 3.8-4 times the height of the poles, and the longitudinal distance between street lamps is generally 30 meters to 50 meters.


Step 2: Wiring (laying buried cables)

According to the engineering requirements, select the appropriate type of cable, lay the cable, and perform insulation test on the cable. Use a shake meter to remotely measure the insulation resistance between the wires and the ground to check whether the cable is intact and whether there is any leakage. The test valuesare all Should comply with the requirements of the specification, after the remote measurement is completed, the core wire should be discharged to the ground. The end of the cable is sealed with rubber cloth and then wrapped with tape.


Step 3: Dig the hole

According to the size of the embedded parts, dig a suitable size pit for pouring.


Step 4: Pouring

Put the embedded parts in the pit and pour the cement. During the pouring process, attention should be paid to stabilizing the embedded parts to ensure that the embedded parts are straight.


Step 5: Fix the LED street light

After waiting for the foundation to dry, fix the bottom flange of the assembled LED street light with the embedded parts, and tighten the screws.

Note:

The installation height (from the light source to the ground), elevation angle, and installation direction of the LED street lights in the same position should be consistent.

The longitudinal centerline of the LED luminaire installation should be consistent with the longitudinal centerline of the lamp arm. The horizontal horizontal line of the luminaire should be parallel to the ground, and there should be no skew visually after tightening.

The LED street lamp head should be adjusted to the correct position according to the design, and the street lamp head wiring should comply with the regulations.

Check and tighten all kinds of nuts again. Washers and spring washers should be added.


Step 6: Wiring

Connect the wires in the street light pole with the laid cables, wrap the connectors with tape, and put the connectors into the street light poles.

Note:

The materials will be checked out of the box after participation, and the equipment can be used only after passing the inspection.

The center lines of the moving contact and the static contact should be together, and the contacts should be in close contact.

The switching contact of the auxiliary switch of the secondary circuit should be accurate and reliable in contact.

The mechanical and electrical locking actions should be accurate and reliable.

The grounding system must be robust and reliable and meet the requirements of the drawings and specifications.


Step 7: Test and pressure test:

It is necessary to use debugging equipment, surfaces, and instruments to be inspected and qualified by relevant units recognized by the state with metrological qualifications, and to be used and kept by special personnel.

The insulation test of the electrical circuit must be qualified, the impedance matching is proper, the wiring is accurate, and the symbol is clear and complete.

The surface should be active, the measurement should be accurate, the zero position should be accurate, and the indication accuracy, deterioration, and recording accuracy should meet the requirements of the manual.

After the equipment is completed, check it and admit that it is correct before proceeding with sub-item debugging.

After each sub-item debugging is completed, system debugging, linkage debugging, and trial operation can be carried out.

 

Follow the above steps to complete the installation and commissioning of led street lighting fixture to ensure that it is normal and stable, and the maintenance cost can be reduced in the later stage.
