Five steps to install solar lawn lights

Solar lawn lamp installation is generally divided into five steps: embedded pipe, foundation pouring, power cord threading, lamp wiring, lamp installation. Warm reminder, solar lawn lights must be safely and reliably grounded.

When wiring solar lawn lights, use a wire not less than the distribution phase wire as the ground wire to connect the metal shell of the lamp or lamp post, and the ground wire is connected to the 'ground' of the system. When the length of the grounding wire exceeds 25 meters, repeat the grounding at the end. For repeated grounding, you can bury a 4 mm x 40 mm, 25-meter-long galvanized flat iron with 5 grounding electrodes. The grounding electrode uses 5x50 galvanized angle steel. It is 2.5 meters long, driven into the ground vertically, and the grounding electrode and galvanized flat iron are welded at a distance. The grounding resistance is required to be less than 4 ohms.

Why can't the size of the ground wire be smaller than the phase wire? Because if the phase wire is short-circuited with the equipment casing, the ground wire can release all the current. If the quality of solar lawn lights is not up to standard, or the installation is not standardized, the following problems will occur:

1. The light pole is painted off, rusted, and loose.

2. The grounding installation does not meet the requirements, and there is even no grounding wire.

3. The lampshade is too thin, damaged and peeled off later.

4. The wattage of the bulb of the solar lawn lamp is too large, and the temperature of the lampshade is too high during use, causing burns or sharp corners of the lampshade and easy to cut people.
